Community Home Australia

WHO IS COMMUNITY HOME AUSTRALIA?

Community Home Australia is a wholly Australian owned not for profit charitable organisation registered with the Australian Charities and Not for Profit Commission.

The Director of Aged Care Consulting & Advisory Services Australasia Pty Ltd donated the capital to establish the organisation as a major philanthropic activity of his company.

We partner with leading organisations to provide the highest quality care and services to our guests and operate three Supported Living Houses (Kambera, Kiah and Kot Houses) and Club Kalina Community Program in the southern suburbs of Canberra and Kora House and Club Kinta in Sydneys Westmead,

We also collaborate with a number of leading aged care providers to extend our support services to people on the aged care Support at Home program.

We also undertake research in conjunction with the University of Canberra and Western Sydney university to continuously improve our services and approach.

We are 100% Australian owned and operate as a social enterprise – by allowing us to provide for you, you in turn help to support others in the community.

We run a lean corporate operation with no huge head office team to support. This means our income can be directed to providing the highest quality care and services in the best environment.

Our directors are senior aged care clinicans, managers and advisors who have extensive hands on experience in operating aged care and dementia services in Australia.

Our Managing Director, Dr Rodney Jilek is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Canberra, and a former Clinical Advisor to the Department of Health and Ageing with over 35 years experience in the sector.

We started this endeavour determined to deliver aged care and disability support services differently.
