Community Home Australia

CLUB KALINA (act) &
CLUB KINTA (sydney)

Club Kalina is our amazing, inclusive community day program centre located in Greenway ACT. Club Kinta is located at Kora House in Westmead in Sydney. Both clubs welcome people of all ages and abilities. Membership of our clubs is is free and daily fees can be paid privately or funded through your NDIS or your Support at Home aged care package.

Kalina is the indigenous word meaning “to love” while Kinta is the indigenous word for “laughter”and that’s exactly what we wanted to create – an environment that is safe, welcoming, enabling, loving and fun.

Both clubs welcome people living in the general community, in retirement villages, aged care nursing homes or NDIS Supported Independent Living houses.

The clubs are open from 9:00am until 4:00pm Monday to Friday including Public Holidays and offers the opportunity to participate in individual and group social activities, intergenerational programs, bus trips, beauty therapy, shopping, and a range of onsite nursing and allied health services. We offer full day, half day and hourly rate packages.

Through our partnership with Guide Healthcare and a number of individual local health professionals we are able to offer access to physiotherapy, speech pathology, dietetcs, massage therapy, podiatry, occupational therapy and psychology.

Club Kalina is an official drop off point for clothing that our members and guests sort for local charity Roundabout to help the homeless community of Canberra and is also an official Floriade partner so we get to build and care for a floral display for the annual event each year.

Club Kalina is also an allied health student placement site for the University of Canberra so you can be involved in shaping the future of Occupational Therapy and Nursing.
